How to Make Money Online
How I Started Blogging
MY FIRST BLOG
Starting a blog was something that I have put off a couple of times then. I always loved writing. I love writing essay assignments, I love writing in my diaries. I loved writing girly thoughts, my lovelife basically. Thanks to teenage magazines and young adult novels. But, I was afraid of being read.
I started keeping an online diary in Microsoft Word, password-protected. Then I discovered blogs on the internet. I was hesitant to write at first because my written works were always private. I can't bear the thought of letting strangers peep at a piece of my soul. I give myself to each of my writings that sharing it with others equates to difficulty for a secretive, anti-social person like me.
But one day, I found myself publishing my first blog post. Viola! That paved my way to awesomeness.
I WAS A MIXED BAG BLOGGER... THEN
Because my idea of blogging was writing whatever comes into my mind, my first ever blog was a mixed bag. I wrote about really random stuff which ranged from Electronics Engineer Board Passers List to everyday happenings. Then, I discovered that I can earn online through blogging and that has fascinated me much.
I started reading other earning online blogs and have come to know that in order for one blog to really gain readers, it should only include limited, related topics. That was when I welcomed niche blogging. My main blog became an earning online blog. And since I can't stop myself from writing about myself and my fandoms, I created a new blog for my personal thoughts. Then, I developed the love for animals. I made another one. Then, I discovered restaurant hopping and blogging and I made a food blog. And I thought that my serious writings should only belong to one page and I created a writing blog. Book buying became my hobby and I felt the urge to blog the books that I bought, hence the creation of my book blog. Yes, I have several blogs, but I maintained only a few.
Then, I bought dot com's. I earned online. I wrote reviews. It is pure bliss.
I'LL KEEP ON BLOGGING
Blogging has opened up a new world to me. I made friends, I get invited to really cool events (though not that many still). I get to discover my inner writer. I felt more passionate about my interests, about life. I became better. I became happier.
Blogging is indeed therapeutic. And it has became my way of life.
How to Register a Domain Name
Why are Domain Names Important?
- Domain names help your business build their own identity. People will eventually know what your site is all about just by reading your domain name. It sums up what your page is all about.
- Domain names help give websites credibility. Advertisers would pick a website with a custom domain than those sites with a sub-domain.
- Your domain name can stay the same even if you changed your web host company. This will enable your customers or readers to track you down easily.
- First, pick a very good domain name, one that would sum up what your website is all about. Also, keep in mind that a shorter domain name is better because people would easily remember a short name than a very long, complicated one.
- Pick a domain name registrar. This is where you would buy your domain name. There are several domain name registrars like GoDaddy.com, Namecheap.com, Dotster.com and Register.com. Most of them offer coupons so that you can buy several domain names at cheaper prices. Take note that you need to pay through Paypal or your credit card.
- Point your own registered domain to your blog or website. This can be found in the settings page of your web hosting company dashboard. For example, if you have a blog on blogger with the URL, http://www.loveisamutt.blogspot.com, this url will redirect to http://www.loveisamutt.com.
- Set up your domain name registrar settings like DNS and domain name transfer. You can always consult their FAQs and Tutorial page.

Valentine Gift Idea: A Must See
Gifts are one of this season's highlights, so you better choose the right gifts. Chocolates are so cliche. Flowers are usual things. Why not try something else? Give him or her something that would enable him or her to see you in a whole new different light. Something that would make him or her see the world in a colorful, vivid vision?
Give him or her a pair of high quality prescription glasses from Zenni Optical, the number one online glasses store. Me personal pick?
Wouldn't you think this modified Aviator style full-rim yellow green glasses would make my man a geek hottie? I totally think so.
Why you should dig them as Valentines Day Gift:
They're affordable.
They're unique.
They'd offer comfort to your lover's eyes.
They're high quality glasses.
They're cute.
They'll make your partner look smart and for some, hotter.
So, come on, grab some $6.95 prescription eyeglasses and give them to your sweetheart this Valentine's Day! :)

Walgreens vs. Express Scripts
This post brought to you by Walgreens. All opinions are 100% mine.
Even the social media became a witness to the battle between Walgreens and Express Scripts. Effective Jan. 1st, 2012 Walgreens is no longer connected to Express Scripts. The efforts of the former to renew the contract were wasted.
The ones who are caught in the middle of this medical battle are the Express Scripts plan holder and the sick patients. They are forced to come out of their way, out of their convenience just to purchase their needed medications. The once oh-so convenient 24-hour Walgreens pharmacies and drive thrus are now eliminated as their options. Not only that, they may be even forced to switch pharmacists. This is just bad as others have already developed a personal relationship with their Walgreens pharmacists. People are always resistant to change, especially if it causes them a great deal of onconvenience.
To help make this transition as tolerable as possible, a Prescription Savings Club at Walgreens was formed. The family only has to pay $10 annually for the membership coverage. The coverage includes all memebers of the immediate family, dependents who are 22 years and younger and yes, even pets. Those who would wish to join this membership, but does not qualify to any of the previous requirements may pay $5 to be included.
Other benefits include:
- save up on over 8,000 branded and generic medications
- avail of discounted diabetic supplies, pet medicines, flu vaccines and nebulizers
- obtain bonuses upon purhasing Walgreens and Nice
